Siegen Plaza shopping center, home of Target, Chick-fil-A, changes hands | Business

The Target-anchored Siegen Plaza shopping mall has been sold.

Houston-based Fidelis, doing business as Siegen Plaza Retail Associates LLC bought the 22.9 acre shopping center in a deal that was filed Monday with the East Baton Rouge Clerk of Court’s office. TriGate Capital LLC of Dallas, which is also known as TPP Siegen LLC, was the seller.

The shopping center was sold near the intersections of Siegen and Interstate 10. “$10 and other valuable considerations.”

JLL Capital Markets, who marketed the shopping center said Siegen Plaza is among the top 3% all shopping centers in America with approximately 5 million visits annually. JLL stated that the HomeGoods store is the most popular in Louisiana and the Ross Dress for Less store is second in Louisiana. 94% of the shopping center’s 156,441 square feet are leased. Petco, Chick-fil-A (Five Below), Whataburger, Olive Garden and Five Below are some of the other tenants.
