Missing 88-Year-Old Damariscotta Man Has Been Located

Damariscotta Police have canceled a silver alert for an 88-year-old man with dementia after he was safely located.

UPDATEShannon Moss, spokesperson at Maine Department of Public Safety, said Ronald Slicer has been safely found.

Katherine England, Maine Department of Public Safety, reports that Ronald Slicer of Damariscotta was last spotted around 9:00 Wednesday morning at his home. Mr. Slice may be driving a white Chevy Transx with plate 1856XU. Police believe that Slice used his credit card in Belfast on Thursday just before noon.

Mr. Slicer describes himself as a white male, 5’11” tall, 184 pounds, with gray hair, and hazel eyes. Officials say he has dementia.

Anyone who sees him or has information about his whereabouts is urged to call 911 or the Damariscotta Police Department at 207-563-3200.
